Skeets Greene is a second-year MSc Rehabilitation Research student and a recent graduate of Dalhousie University’s BSc Kinesiology (Honours) program. His current thesis project, PROVE-VR, combines immersive virtual reality with a 360-degree treadmill to explore an innovative approach to cognitive-physical rehabilitation for individuals living with chronic stroke.

Skeets has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced an acquired brain injury. He particularly enjoys getting to know each individual and helping them work toward functional goals that are meaningful to them.

Outside of his rehabilitation research, Skeets enjoys coaching strength and conditioning and track and field. He also competes as a jumper with the Dalhousie Track and Field program.

Originally from Barrie, Ontario, Skeets has spent the better part of the last seven years on the East Coast and when he’s not in the lab or at the track, you can usually find him looking for a good surf day along the Eastern Shore.
