Anita Shahzadi, BScPT

Anita completed her bachelor’s degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) in Pakistan, ranked 11th in the country. GCUF is one of Pakistan’s leading public research universities, strongly emphasizing academic excellence and research.

She has been working as a physiotherapist for two years and has a strong research interest.

During her last two years of study, Anita worked on various research projects on factors associated with osteoarthritis, tenosynovitis, and low back pain.

She enjoys spending time with friends and colleagues in her free time, often over a cup of tea. She also likes to stay active by practising meditation. Additionally, she enjoys learning new things and keeping up-to-date with the latest research in the field. She likes to read books on various topics, including health and wellness, self-improvement, and entrepreneurship. Finally, she enjoys participating in workshops and volunteering in their community to give back and make a difference.

She plans to pursue a post-graduate research program that identifies the physical deficits in people with HIV. With her education, experience, and passion for research, Anita is committed to making a meaningful impact in physical therapy and beyond.
