Master of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Research, BSc in Kinesiology
Youngbin (Kevin) Choi is a Master of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Research candidate at Dalhousie University, building on a BSc in Kinesiology (2023). Originally from Seoul, South Korea, his journey has taken him through Australia to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he now focuses on improving access and outcomes in rehabilitation care. His clinical foundation includes experience as a student athletic trainer and physiotherapy assistant. During his free times, he enjoys being physically active through working out at the gym, going to play basketball or boxing. He also enjoys going for nature walks while listening to music. Since 2024, he has contributed to Dr. Adria Quigley’s StrokeGoRed research team, where he is currently developing a women-centred recruitment study to enhance participant engagement in stroke research. His goal is to become a physiotherapist with commitment to enhance evidence-based clinical research practices.
